We would like to inform you that the AMAYA rhythmic gymnastics hoops are joined using an internal aluminum piece, injection-molded with a hot press. As the plastic cools, it further contracts, creating a stronger bond between the hoop and the aluminum piece.
All FIG hoops are manufactured using this method. This is a requirement of FIG.
It is normal to see the seam, both on our hoops and on those of other brands, as all brands use the same joining system. This is not a problem, as gymnasts wrap the hoops with tape.
We have tested the hoops with both presses and aggressive exercises, and the seam holds perfectly. With proper use, the hoops will not come apart.
