The surface under these structures must have an adequate shock absorption capacity for their critical fall height, depending on where the exercise bar is placed on the columns:

Up to 1000 mm: natural grass in good condition or basic soft materials can be used.

Up to 1400 mm: Shock absorbing material such as continuous rubber, rubber tiles, sand, fine gravel or wood mulch with a certain thickness is required.

More than 2000 mm: it is mandatory to use specific surfaces such as tiles or certified continuous floors with tested absorption up to the indicated critical height.
